When I speak,
I would like for my voice to be heard.
Though I'm weak,
I grow strong with each step and each word.
I can fly!
Every breath brings me closer to the sky.
Let me speak,
Let me try.
When I laugh,
Can you hear all the joy that I hold?
It's enough,
Like a flicker of hope in the cold
To warm the dark.
The tiniest flint can light a spark.
You will see,
Just laugh with me!
Like the clearest rainbow on the bluest day,
Listen to my song and float away!
Every feeling paints a different shade.
My hopes, my prayers, my joys,
They're all here in my voice.
When I cry,
Not afraid to give voice to my fears,
If you try,
You can feel all my dreams and my fears.
Like the sun,
there's a smile that's just bursting to shine through,
Cause I know
That I have you!
