If you want to determine if someone (Tom) has saved you in their contacts, follow the steps below: Create a new broadcast list with Tom and one of the following: a. your alternate account, b. someone who does not mind being sent a random message, c. someone who has blocked you. Send "test1" to the broadcast list. Open the chat with Tom. Send "test2" to him. If test1 has been received (double gray ticks), he has definitely saved you in your contacts. Else, wait for test2 to be received (double gray ticks). If test1 has not been received (only one gray tick) after test2 has been received, he has not saved you in your contacts.
